 KIND ATTENTION TO THE STUDENTS OF IDE

Following the requests received from the students of the IDE, University of Madras hereby announces that the notification issued in our University official website stands withdrawn. It is also announced that the semester examination (for the ongoing batches) i.e. examinations pertaining to June 2025 alone will be tentatively held in December 2025. The details of the ongoing batch are given below:





For June 2025 Examinations (A20, C21, A21, C22, A22, C23, A23, C24, A24 & C25 for UG) and (A21, C22, A22, C23, A23, C24, A24 & C25 for PG) batch students are only eligible. The Online Registration portal for June 2025 Examinations is available in the IDE website (www.ideunom.ac.in) from 19-11-2025 onwards.

Madras University IDE – Compulsory Internal Assignment Submission Deadline (31.12.2025)

The University of Madras – Institute of Distance Education (IDE) has issued an important notification for students of the following batches and semesters: Internal Assignment Link  - Click here to start the Assignment A24 – II Semester C24 – III Semester A23 – IV Semester C23 – V Semester A22 – VI Semester Students are required to complete and submit their Compulsory Internal Assignment on or before 31 December 2025 . This submission is mandatory for all eligible candidates. The University has clearly stated that no further extension will be provided under any circumstances.
